1. Age between 18-65 years old
2. ASA physical status I-II
3. Elective surgery requiring general anesthesia
4. Written informed consent obtained
1. Cardiovascular or lung disease
2. Upper airway problem (chronic hypertrophic tonsillitis, nasal polyps, obstructive sleep apnea)
3. Pregnancy
4. Inflammation or infection of upper abdomen/lung
5. Intra-abdominal mass ≥ 20 weeks size
6. Obesity ( Body mass index ≥ 30 kg/m2)
7. Current heavy smoking≥ 20 pack year
8. Beard
9. No teeth
10. Nasogastric tube insertion
11. Face deformity
