Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1\. Age between 18\-65 years old
- •2\. ASA physical status I\-II
- •3\. Elective surgery requiring general anesthesia
- •4\. Written informed consent obtained
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\. Cardiovascular or lung disease
- •2\. Upper airway problem (chronic hypertrophic tonsillitis, nasal polyps, obstructive sleep apnea)
- •3\. Pregnancy
- •4\. Inflammation or infection of upper abdomen/lung
- •5\. Intra\-abdominal mass ≥ 20 weeks size
- •6\. Obesity ( Body mass index ≥ 30 kg/m2\)
- •7\. Current heavy smoking≥ 20 pack year
- •9\. No teeth
- •10\. Nasogastric tube insertion
- •11\. Face deformity
