Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1\.Patients for up to 10 days of their PICU stay and outcomes at 60 days.
- •2\.Patients 1 month to 18 years of age who are admitted to the PICU
- •3\.Patients who require mechanical ventilation will be enrolled. Each patient will have an anticipated length of PICU stay of 3 days or more.
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\.Subjects with a PICU length of stay \<3 days
- •2\.Patients who are not mechanically ventilated
- •3\.Patients who are receiving compassionate care towards end of life, or are enrolled in a nutrition intervention trial will be excluded.
