Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •1\. Patients with STEMI presenting within 24 hours and undergoing primary percutaneous intervention (PCI)
  • •2\. Age more than 18 years

Exclusion Criteria

  • •1\. Previous ischemic heart disease (IHD)
  • •2\. History of Percutaneous coronary intervention
  • •3\. History of coronary artery bypass graft surgery
  • •4\. Significant valvular heart disease
  • •5\. Pregnant women
  • •6\. Malignancy
  • •7\. Chronic kidney disease
  • •8\. Retro viral disease
  • •9\. Terminal illness
  • •10\. Patients who did not give consent.
