Inclusion Criteria
Adolescent patient, 14- 25 years of age, with bilateral premolar extractions in the maxillary or the mandibular arch, or in both arches.
Exclusion Criteria
1. If a subject appeared at his or her appointment with either the unaltered site or the altered site Active tieback broken or missing.
2. If at the unaltered site active tieback was inadvertently removed during the experimental time or the extraction space became closed.
3. If the time between monthly measurements exceeded 33 days.
