Inclusion Criteria
a)APGAR score <5/10 at 5 min (or)
b)pH <7.2 ( Metabolic Acidosis ) (or)
c)Clinical evidence of hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy (HIE) 24 hrs after birth (for outborn babies).
Exclusion Criteria
a)Preterm babies
b)Neonates with congenital malformation
c)Neonates with congenital myopathy
