Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •Diagnosis osteoarthritis (except the control group and the group of life partners),
- •planned total arthroplasty, independence in activities of daily living (with assistance of the partner).
Exclusion Criteria
- •Wheelchair use, need for long\-time care, other diseases which lead to decreades physical acitivity levels (e.g. stroke, multiple sclerosis, parkinson and cancer).
- •Cognitive deficits which prevent written informed consent.
