Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1\.Preterm infants of less than 37 weeks gestational age (according to best obstetric estimate at time of delivery)
- •2\. Low birth weight infants of less than 2500 grams, (where the intervention to prevent hypothermia is applied within 10 minutes after birth in the delivery suite)
- •3\. Both appropriate and small\-for\-gestational age infants were eligible
Exclusion Criteria
- •Major congenital malformation, especially abdominal wall defects
