Inclusion Criteria
1.Preterm infants of less than 37 weeks gestational age (according to best obstetric estimate at time of delivery)
2. Low birth weight infants of less than 2500 grams, (where the intervention to prevent hypothermia is applied within 10 minutes after birth in the delivery suite)
3. Both appropriate and small-for-gestational age infants were eligible
Exclusion Criteria
Major congenital malformation, especially abdominal wall defects
