Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • Patients undergoing hemodialysis whose kidney failure has been confirmed by a nephrologist.
  • Not having a mental disorder (depression and cognitive disorders) based on the medical record and the patient's statement.
  • Having informed consent to participate in the study.
  • Having minimum reading and writing literacy.
  • Being at least 18 years old and at most 70 years old.
  • At least six months have passed since the start of dialysis.
  • Perform dialysis 3 times a week.
  • Absence of speech and hearing problems.
  • Absence of any crisis (death of relatives, divorce, loss of job, accident) during the last six months.

Exclusion Criteria

  • Unwillingness to participate in research.
  • Disconnection with the researcher during the study.
  • The death of the patient during the research.
  • Changing the treatment method to peritoneal dialysis or kidney transplant.
