Inclusion Criteria
Epileptic seizures, minimum 24-hour stay in Epilepsy Monitoring Unit.
Exclusion Criteria
Children (under 15 years of age), patients with open wounds in the area of attachment (under the chest), patients wearing a pacemaker, implantable cardioverter defibrillator (ICD) or other electronic implant.

- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Determine sensitivity per patient with seizures (focal as well as generalized seizures). The basis for the seizure yes/no assessment is the EEG.
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Determine sensitivity per patient with seizures and simultaneously investigate drug administration, patient groups may be grouped (cluster analysis).<br>Determine false detection rate per patient (epileptic seizure detected where none was according to EEG).<br>Continuous comparison of the two approaches in terms of sensitivity and specificity.<br>
