Male patients diagnosed with Alcohol Dependence Syndrome as per International Classification of Disease - 10th revision - Diagnostic Criteria for Research.
Male with Alcohol Dependence aged between 18 to 50 years.
Severity of Alcohol Dependence Questionnaire (SADQ) in Male with Alcohol dependence greater than 16.
The Clinical Institute Withdrawal Assessment for Alcohol (revised version) in Male with Alcohol dependence CIWA-Ar lesser than or equal to 7.
Right-handed. Males with Alcohol dependence who are ready to give informed consent.
Male with Alcohol dependence having any other co-morbid substance dependence.
Male with Alcohol dependence having any medical illness.
Male with Alcohol dependence having any other psychiatric illness, dementia, psychotic disorder.
Male with Alcohol dependence who are on any psychotropic medication in 2 weeks preceding and during the study.
Male with Alcohol dependence who have received ECT in past 6 months.
Colour blind. Male with Alcohol dependence having any metallic implants/parts in the body.
