Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • 1\. Patients of either sex aged between 18 to 50 year.
  • 2\. Patient is willing and able to participate in the study.
  • 3\. Patients presenting with signs and symptoms of Dry eye Disease and lakshana of Shushkakshipaka as Dryness of eyes ( Rukshata), Pricking/Tearing pain ( Toda / Bheda), Burning sensation (Daha),Blurring of vision (Avildarshana)
  • 4\. Patients having mild dryness( 14 \-10mm of Schirmer Test) \& moderate dryness ( 10\- 6 mm of Schirmer Test )

Exclusion Criteria

  • 1\. Age group less than 18 years and more than 50 years.
  • 2\. Patient is not willing for participate in this study.
  • 3\. Allergic and inflammatory conditions of eye Ex. Acute conjunctivitis, Vernal keratoconjunctivitis, giant papillary conjunctivitis etc.
  • 4\. Patients having severe dryness in eyes.(This is less than \& equal to 5 mm Schirmer Test)
  • 5\. Severe cases of dry eye disease with complications like corneal ulcer, Uveitis, Glaucoma etc.
  • 6\. Dry eye associated with Sjogrens Syndrome
