Inclusion Criteria

1.All Gastrointestinal cancer patients who undergo curative surgery during the study period

2.Age:18 to 70 years

3.ECOG 0 - 2

Exclusion Criteria

1.Patients undergoing non-curative resections

2.Cachexia or malnutrition attributable to any other chronic illness/medical condition

3.Patient with other synchronous malignancy other than GI cancers

1.To assess the prevalence of malnutrition in patients undergoing Gastrointestinal Cancer Surgeries using CONUT and PG SGA scores <br/ ><br>2.To assess correlation of preoperative nutritional status on postoperative outcomes <br/ ><br> <br/ ><br>Timepoint: 1.To assess the prevalence of malnutrition in patients undergoing Gastrointestinal Cancer Surgeries using CONUT and PG SGA scores on preoperative day and <br/ ><br>2.To assess correlation of preoperative nutritional status on postoperative outcomes over a period of 4 weeks and date to start the adjuvant therapy after discharge. <br/ ><br> <br/ ><br>
