Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •1\.Patients with age ranging from 13 to 25 years
  • •2\.Class 1 or Class 2 malocclusion requiring maxillary first premolar extractions.
  • •3\.No canine root prominence
  • •4\.Patient with no radiographic evidence of bone loss
  • •5\.Patient with no systemic disease

Exclusion Criteria

  • •1\.history of previous orthodontic treatment
  • •2\.medication intake such as nonsteroidal anti\-inflammatory drugs
  • •3\.metabolic disorder or syndrome affecting calcium and phosphate metabolism
  • •4\.blood disorders like thrombocytopenia and leukopenia,
