Inclusion Criteria
1.Patients with age ranging from 13 to 25 years
2.Class 1 or Class 2 malocclusion requiring maxillary first premolar extractions.
3.No canine root prominence
4.Patient with no radiographic evidence of bone loss
5.Patient with no systemic disease
Exclusion Criteria
1.history of previous orthodontic treatment
2.medication intake such as nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs
3.metabolic disorder or syndrome affecting calcium and phosphate metabolism
4.blood disorders like thrombocytopenia and leukopenia,
