1. Having activity-related knee pain for two weeks
2. Knee pain during squatting or stair climbing (score of =3 and < 8 on an 11-point NRS
3. Mild to moderate physical dysfunction (score >20 out of 68) on the physical function subscale of the WOMAC scale.
4. All grades of osteoarthritis
1. Gout or Rheumatoid arthritis, fibromyalgia, or other systemic rheumatic disease
2. History of lower limb trauma/ surgery in the past 6 months
3. Severe hearing or visual impairment, Serious / terminal illness, severe cardiopulmonary disease
4. Body mass index (BMI) =30 kg/m2
5. Walking more than 30 min continuously daily or participating in a regular (more than twice a week) exercise program
6. Current or past (within 3 months) oral or intra-articular corticosteroid use
7. Inability to walk unaided
8. Motor impairment due to neuromuscular diseases
9. Cognitive deficits that compromise understanding of the tests and protocol interventions.
