Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •Al inborn neonates weighing between 1000\-1500g in whom enteral feeding would be started within 96 hours of life
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\-Major congenital malformation including Tracheo\-Esophageal Fistula, Oesophageal
- •Atresia, Duodenal atresia interfering or delaying the feed initiation.
- •2\-Chromosomal abnormalities,
- •3\-Perinatal asphyxia (APGAR score of \<5 at 5min) or encephalopathy due to any
- •ï?? out born status,
- •ï?? Intestinal perforation before initiation of feeding,
- •ï?? Infants with Absent or Reversed End Diastolic Flow(AEDF/REDF) in antenatal USG
- •ï?? Infants who are severely sick, on invasive ventilation or shock,
- •ï?? Infants in whom enteral feeding could not be started within 96 hours of life.
