Inclusion Criteria
- •\> 18 years
- •ASA I \& II patiënts
- •Are the trial subjects under 18? no
- •Number of subjects for this age range:
- •F.1\.2 Adults (18\-64 years) yes
- •F.1\.2\.1 Number of subjects for this age range 70
- •F.1\.3 Elderly (\>\=65 years) yes
- •F.1\.3\.1 Number of subjects for this age range 10
Exclusion Criteria
- •\- Pulmonary hypertension
- •\- Patients with evidence of coronary (NYHA III) disease
- •\- Pulmonary disease (COPD/Asthma)
- •\- Right ventricle dysfunction
- •\- Psychiatric pathology like syndromes: dementia, schizophrenia, bipolar personality
- •\- Daily use of benzodiazepines and/or opioids
- •\- Use of psychogenic drugs
- •\- Laparoscopies (Abdominal CO2 administration can bias our results)
- •\- Pregnant women and breastfeeding women
