Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •Children within the age group of 2\-12 years scheduled for elective surgeries requiring endotracheal tube intubation
- •ASA – Grade I and II
- •Duration of surgery more than 2 hours
Exclusion Criteria
- •Children with anticipated difficult airway or syndromic association
- •Children with recent upper respiratory tract infection ( \<2 weeks)
- •Children with obesity (BMI \>85th percentiles),
- •Children with history of snoring,
- •Children with reactive airway disease,
- •Children with congenital heart disease.
- •Children undergoing oral surgeries.
- •Children not intubated in the first attempt
