This is a research in which we try to see that is there any correlation between the pre-surgery value of glycosylated hemoglobin with the variations of blood sugar values during brain tumor surgery in non diabetic patients as high blood sugar level during brain surgery is harmful.

Inclusion Criteria
Patients aged between 18- 65 years and belonging to ASA1 and ASA2 status planned for elective craniotomy for glioma under general anesthesia receiving steroid were enrolled in this study
Exclusion Criteria
Patient of previously diagnosed diabetes mellitus, HbA1C more than 7, Cushingâ??s syndrome, acromegaly, any other endocrinal disorder, on oral contraceptive pills, re-do surgeries were excluded from the study.
