Inclusion Criteria
type 2 diabetic patients with nephropathy? age ranged from 30 to 70 years? not having a history of cancer, hepatic and heart disease. Exclusion criteria: drinking more than two cups of black tea per day? hypertensive patients (>150/90 mm Hg)? patients with GFR less than 20? following a specific diet? changing the dose of medicines within the last 3 months or during the intervention? changing physical activity during the intervention.
