- Brief Summary
Acquiring MRI brain scans at the same time point as lifestyle profiles in adults with MS is both feasibile and accepted among adult females living with MS. There was one strong, negative correlation found between body mass index (BMI) and brain volume, suggesting that as BMI increases, total brain volume decreases. The preliminary results provide sufficient information to warrant upscaling of this protocol, with key considerations regarding recruitment and volumetric processing for the MRI data.
