Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • Stage 1 to 4 according to Hoehn \& Yahr with ON medication (Hoehn and Yahr, 1967\)
  • \-Age \=18 years
  • \-Any ethnicity
  • \-Mini\-Mental State Examination (MMSE) score \=24 out of 30 points (Tombaugh and McIntyre, 1992\)
  • \-Stable dosage of dopaminergic replacement therapy at least 3 weeks before the start of the study or still without dopaminergic treatment for the duration of the study intervention
  • \-German spoken and written

Exclusion Criteria

  • \- Concomitant disease(s) (such as malignant diseases, other neurological, serious orthopaedic, cardiac, or psychiatric diseases, major depression, dementia)
  • \- Orthostatic hypotension
  • \- Non\-Parkinsonian gait disorder (e.g. due to musculoskeletal symptoms)
  • \- Recent surgical intervention
  • \- uncorrected visual or hearing impairment that would interfere with training or assessments
  • \- joint replacement therapies within the last six months
  • \- Spinal surgery within the last twelve months
  • \- Pregnancy, verified by a pregnancy test
  • \- Pronounced degenerative spinal diseases (stiffening)
  • \- Recent deep brain stimulation (DBS) or change in DBS parameters within the last year
