Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • 1.Subjects with paraplegia with level of injury below T1
  • 2.Subjects with complete or incomplete injury according to AIS
  • 3.Subjects who had sustained injury for less than 6 monthsâ?? duration
  • 4.Subjects with motor score of 5/25 or less in both lower limb
  • 5.Subjects who are over 18 years of age
  • 6.Subjects with ability to sit unsupported for atleast 30 sec
  • 7.Subjects with a minimum active 90 degree of shoulder flexion
  • 8.Subjects who were able to communicate and follow commands with MMSE scores >= 24
  • 9.Subjects who were willing to participate

Exclusion Criteria

  • 1.Subjects who were medically unstable
  • 2.Subjects with unstable cardiopulmonary disease
  • 3.Subjects with any other neurological, musculoskeletal or psychiatric impairment that would affect the participation in the study
  • 4.Subjects with any deformity of the upper extremity
  • 5.Subjects with any other complication like pressure sores, autonomic dysreflexia, orthostatic hypotension, contractures, heterotropic ossification and urinary tract infection
  • 6.Subjects with uncorrected hearing or visual impairment that would affect the participation in study
  • 7.Subjects with severe depression (beck depression inventory â?? II (>= 29)
  • 8.Subjects with grade 3 spasticity on modified ashworth scale
