Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1\.Subjects with paraplegia with level of injury below T1
- •2\.Subjects with complete or incomplete injury according to AIS
- •3\.Subjects who had sustained injury for less than 6 monthsâ?? duration
- •4\.Subjects with motor score of 5/25 or less in both lower limb
- •5\.Subjects who are over 18 years of age
- •6\.Subjects with ability to sit unsupported for atleast 30 sec
- •7\.Subjects with a minimum active 90 degree of shoulder flexion
- •8\.Subjects who were able to communicate and follow commands with MMSE scores \>\= 24
- •9\.Subjects who were willing to participate
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\.Subjects who were medically unstable
- •2\.Subjects with unstable cardiopulmonary disease
- •3\.Subjects with any other neurological, musculoskeletal or psychiatric impairment that would affect the participation in the study
- •4\.Subjects with any deformity of the upper extremity
- •5\.Subjects with any other complication like pressure sores, autonomic dysreflexia, orthostatic hypotension, contractures, heterotropic ossification and urinary tract infection
- •6\.Subjects with uncorrected hearing or visual impairment that would affect the participation in study
- •7\.Subjects with severe depression (beck depression inventory â?? II (\>\= 29\)
- •8\.Subjects with grade 3 spasticity on modified ashworth scale
