Inclusion Criteria

Above 18 years-old; both genders; good general health; good oral higiene; received at least one direct composite restoration class I or class II in UNIP's clinics; at least 20 teeth in the mouth.

Exclusion Criteria

Presence of unilateral cross-bite; presence of previous dental hypersensitivity; restoration carried out was considered superficial, or, 0.5-1.0 mm bellow enamel-dentin junction; teeth with all cusps compromised; teeth without pulp vitality or with endodontic treatment; smokers; loss of vertical dimension; parafunctional habits; periodontal disease.

Primary Outcome Measures

To evaluate the postoperatory hypersensitivity in 24h, 1 week, 1 and 2 months through the USPHS criteria (presence or absense), from a variation in at least 5% in the measurements of group class I in relation to class II.

To evaluate the postoperatory hypersensitivity in 24h, 1 week, 1 and 2 months through the USPHS criteria (presence or absense), from a variation in at least 5% in the measurements of restorations with different depths (mean and deep) and liner (presence or absence).
