Inclusion Criteria
- •\- aged between 55 and 75 years
- •\- living independent
- •\- waiting for a total hip arthroplasty at the Martini Hospital
- •\- living less than 15 kilometers from the hospital
Exclusion Criteria
- •\- a revision operation
- •\- severe comorbidity that influence mobility
- •\- cognitive disabilities
- •\- not able to understand or read the Dutch exercise instructions
