Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •Patients with diagnosed polyneuropathy in diabetes mellitus or prediabetes.
  • •Patients who are present at the time of enrollment at diagnosis or follow up on polyneuropathy.
  • •Written consent to study participation is available.
  • •Age \= 18 years.

Exclusion Criteria

  • •Neuropathies that are, in the opinion of the physician,non\-diabetes related.
  • •Patients with confirmed other painful illnesses that focus on non\-neuropathic complaints (eg, spinal disorders, orthopedic or rheumatologic diseases).
  • •Patients with existing consumptive diseases or in a palliative situation.
  • •Participation or planned participation in an interventional study on neuropathy or neuropathic pain at the time of inclusion.
