Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •\- age 70 years and older
- •\- suspect for subtrochanteric, pertrochanteric of femoral neck fracture
- •\- undergone diagnostic blood sampling as part of the standard\-of\-care during
- •acute trauma care
Exclusion Criteria
- •\- polytrauma (ISS \>16\)
- •\- transferred from other hospitals \>24 hours after trauma
- •\- transferred to another hospital after presentation
- •\- immunocompromised status
- •\- active infectious disease
