Inclusion Criteria
1. Subjects requiring maxillary canine retraction following 1st premolar extraction as a part of their treatment plan.
2. Subjects with permanent dentition.
3. No prior H/o orthodontic treatment
Exclusion Criteria
1. H/o systemic illness
2. H/o prolonged use of NSAID medication
3. H/o parafunctional habits
4. H/o smoking
5. Severe skeletal discrepancies
6. TMJ disorders
oOcclusal interferences
oPeriodontally compromised patients
oImpacted and/or dilacerated canines
