- Patient is >65 years old;
- Complete rotator cuff tear;
- Signed informed consent;
- Conservative treatment failure (of at least 6 months).
- previous shoulder operation, glenohumeral osteoarthritis and osteoarthritis
of the acromioclavicular joint, additional schoulder operation;
- Subjects with any other significant medical or psychiatric conditions that in
the opinion of the investigator would preclude participation in the study;
- Inability to communicate pain perception;
- Neuromuscular injury or disorder.

Name Time Method <p>Primary outcome will be the difference between the pre-operative and<br /><br>postoperative Disabilities of the Arm, Shoulder and Hand (DASH) score in<br /><br>patients treated with a LHB tenotomy and a rotator cuff repair. This is 30-item<br /><br>previously validated questionnaire that the patient fills in, designed to<br /><br>evaluate physical function and symptoms in people with any musculoskeletal<br /><br>disorder of the upper limb .</p><br>
