Patients with history suggestive of urticaria for more than 6 weeks
Patients willing for the test and signing the informed consent to study participation
Patients who are more than 18 years of age
Patients with negative dermographism
Patients who have not taken short acting antihistaminics for three days and/or long acting antihistaminics or steroids for seven days or more
Patients not willing for the study
Those patients with physical urticarial
urticarial vasculitis, autoimmune urticarial
contact urticaria, urticaria associated with fever chills, urticaria related to menstruation or pregnancy, connective tissue diseases, thyroid disorders, dental caries, worms in stool, prior history of anaphylaxis, immunosuppression were excluded from the study.
Patients who have taken short acting antihistaminics within three days and/or long acting antihistaminics or steroids within seven days
