Inclusion Criteria
1.Age group of 40-55 years of both the gender.
2.Apparently Healthy individuals
3.Subjects with chronic periodontitis with at least one site bilaterally with probing pocket depth of 4-6mm and clinical attachment loss of = 3mm.
4.Subjects who are willing to give informed consent
Exclusion Criteria
1. Subjects using any form of tobacco.
2. History of previous antibiotic therapy within the past 3 months
3. Subjects known allergic to of metronidazole and tea tree oil.
4. Pregnant woman and Lactating mothers
