Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •1\. Patients who have given informed consent to participate and who at the screening visit have met all the below stated inclusion criteria.;Diagnosed with alcohol dependence according to DSM\-IV criteria
  • •Age between 16\-85 years
  • •Caucasian ethnicity (i.e., defined as having at least three Caucasian grandparents)
  • •A positive family history of alcohol dependence;2\. Relatives who have given informed consent to participate and who at the screening visit have met all the below stated inclusion criteria.;Age between 16\-85 years
  • •Caucasian ethnicity (at least three Caucasian grandparents)

Exclusion Criteria

  • •Age below 16
  • •Non\-caucasian
