•Radiological evidence of stone (up to 10 mm)in Kidney, Ureter and urinary bladder
•Duration of disease >5 years
•Stone size more than 10 mm
•Stag horn renal stone
•Gross hydronephrosis
•Pyelonephritis
•Diabetes mellitus
•Malignancy
•Impaired renal function
•Serum creatinine more than >1.5 mg%
•Chronic renal failure
•Patients with obstruction in urinary passage
•Patients with known metabolic abnormality for calculus formation
•Any other complication of calculus
•Pregnant /lactating woman
•Patient undergoing treatment for any other serious illness
