简要总结
The single-leg hop test is used to assess the performance of the patient with knee joint injuries and their ability to return to physical activity. Functional hop testing is traditionally used to determine readiness to return to sport (RTS) after anterior cruciate ligament injury. Its purpose is to establish the reference values, relative and absolute reliability according to age and gender in normal, overweight and obese children. It is an Observational Study. Children of age between 8-15 years with varying BMIs will be instructed to hop as far as they as can on each leg alternatively. Distance from heel at starting point to toe after landing will be measured. Also, the child will be observed for balance and stability till 3s after landing.

入选标准
- •BMI for 8 to 15 years old children: Normal: 5th percentile to less than the 85th percentile Overweight: 85th to less than the 95th percentile.
- •Obese: Equal to or greater than the 95th percentile Able to Follow verbal commands.
排除标准
- •Participants taking any medications that may have an impact on balance Unwilling to perform the requested tasks Children suffering from any pathological (including musculoskeletal injuries, recent fractures), neurodevelopmental or a neuro motor disorder, severe visual disorder, MI, abnormal health condition which could influence balance and muscle strength Non cooperative participants.
