Patients having range of following components of MS.
1. Waist circumference-Men > 90cm, Woman > 80cm
2. Two or more of the following
(1)BP: 130â??159mmHg systolic or 85-100mmHg diastolic (prehypertension)
(2)Fasting triglyceride : 150-250 ml/dl
(3)Fasting glucose: 100 mg/dl â?? 160 mg/dl (impaired insulin resistance
(4)HDL : 30 mg/dl-40 mg/dl for men, 40-50 mg/dl for women
1.Age group between less than 20 and more than 70 yrs.
2.Pregnancy.
3.Too Obese and Hypertensive patients with other major complications or Coronary heart disease.
4.Chronic sickness like cancer, kidney disease, cirrhosis, chronic infection, rheumatologic Disease.
5.Current use of medicines like insulin, steroid hormones, oral contraceptive, hormone replacement therapy.
6.Regular participation in Yoga or physical exercise ( >4 hours/week) for past 2 months
7.Current major psychiatric illness
