研究概览

简要总结

Caregivers often lack awareness of available community support services and rely on informal sources instead of qualified professionals like physiotherapists

Informal guidance varies in quality and may negatively impact the recovery of stroke patients

Community health workers in rural India have varying levels of knowledge about stroke management, which affects the advice given to caregivers

Caregivers of stroke survivors experience high physical, emotional, and mental stress, influencing their healthcare choices

Studying caregivers’ knowledge, attitudes and practices (KAP) will help identify barriers such as lack of knowledge, access, or cost that affect their preference for informal providers over qualified physiotherapists
