1. Patients with ACR/EULAR classification criteria 2010 for RA more than or equal to 6.
2. All patients previously diagnosed as RA were also included in the study.
Following patients were excluded from the study:-
1.Age less than 18 years
2.Patients on medication, which are known to cause thyroid dysfunction (like Lithium, Interferon alpha, β-blockers, etc.)
3.Patients with connective tissue disease other than RA.
4.Co-existing infection/malignancy.
5.Chronic liver or renal disease.
6.Diabetic patients.
7.Patients who were pregnant.
8.Patients who had undergone thyroidectomy.
9.All patients who refused to participate in the study.
