Brief Summary

OBSERVATIONAL

The prospective study of  “ROLE OF ULTRASONOGRAPHY AND COMPUTED TOMOGRAPHY IN GALL BLADDER MASSES AND THEIR CORRELATION WITH CYTOPATHOLOGY†in all consecutive patients of different age groups between the age of 20 to 90 years old and either sex will be conducted with a suspected GB or biliary tract pathology or patients incidentally detected with GB wall thickening.

Inclusion Criteria

  • Patients who have undergone Ultrasonography (USG) and Contrast Enhanced Computed Tomography (CECT) abdomen followed by Cyto-pathological examination for GB mass lesions.

Exclusion Criteria

  • Patients coming with any of the three evaluating modality which are Ultrasonography, Computed Tomography and Fine Needle Aspiration Cytology done outside.
  • Patients under age of 20 and above 90 will be excluded.

Outcomes

Primary Outcomes

Gall bladder mass lesion.

Time Frame: 1 week, 4 weeks

Secondary Outcomes

  • Correlating gall bladder mass lesions with cyto-pathology.(8 weeks, 12 weeks)
