Inclusion Criteria
Patients who were diagnosed with infantile spasms (West syndrome) – who both showed clinical spasms and hypsarrhythmia on EEG.
Exclusion Criteria
diagnosis of tuberous sclerosis.
on other antiepileptic medications.
if their parents or guardians refused to participate in the trial.
