Study Overview
Brief Summary
This study aims to examine the relationship between scapular motion, strength of shoulder rotator muscles, and throwing distance in javelin throwers. Javelin throwing is a complex overhead activity that requires efficient scapular control and adequate shoulder strength for optimal performance. Alterations in scapular movement or weakness of shoulder rotators may reduce throwing efficiency and increase the risk of injury. In this observational cross-sectional study, scapular motion will be measured using a digital inclinometer, shoulder internal and external rotator strength will be assessed using a handheld dynamometer, and throwing distance will be evaluated using the javelin throw test. The findings of this study are expected to help in understanding how scapular mechanics and shoulder strength influence throwing performance and may assist in developing better training and rehabilitation strategies for javelin throwers.

Inclusion Criteria
- •Elite Javelin throwers Males and females will be included Age group: Under 23 years Athletes with at least 1-2 years of competitive experience.
Exclusion Criteria
- •Athletes with a history of recent shoulder injury, fracture or surgery (within the last 6 months).
- •Athletes with known neurological or cardiovascular disorders Individuals with diagnosed congenital deformities that could affect shoulder biomechanics.
