Patient coming to emergency room with perforation peritonitis are recruited considering the inclusion and exclusion criteria, after due verbal consent and admitted to department of general surgery.

•patient more than 18 years presenting with perforation peritonitis.

排除标准

•Patient with immunocompromised states diabetes mellitus Multiple areas of perforation Gynecological causes of perforation patient managed with intra abdominal drain pre operatively.
•Age less than 18 years excluded.

To estimate association between perforation peritonitis and microbiological profile at presentation intraoperatively and post op outcome.
