- •Resident in Germany & German-speaking (data collected in German),
- •Participation in a (hospital-based) patient advisory board for at least three months, and in the following function:
- •patients, former patients, family members or informal carers of patients, or
- •institutional representatives of the hospital (e.g. doctors, nurses, administrators, QM or clinical risk management representatives) or other actors of patient advisory boards (e.g. scientists, neutral moderators)

- •Insufficient knowledge of German,
- •No or less than three months' membership or involvement in the Patient Advisory board
