Patients enrolled in the obesity program of the study institution; experiencing immediate preoperative; literate.
Exclusion Criteria
Patients using the intragastric balloon; without time availability; without a landline or mobile phone.

Name Time Method Increased knowledge about bariatric surgery and perioperative care verified by the number of hits equal to or greater than 70% in each knowledge test question.<br>

Name Time Method Decrease in body weight verified by the scales from the observation of a variation of at least 5% in the pre- and post-intervention measurements;Reduction of anxiety verified by the IDATE scale from the observation of a variation of the number of patients with moderate/high anxiety before and after the follow-up of the intervention
