Inclusion Criteria
patients aged =18 years who underwent sevoflurane anesthesia for elective laparoscopic gastrectomy or open gastrectomy of gastric cancer from November 2012 to January 2014 at samsung Medical Center
Exclusion Criteria
: Patients admitted directly to the intensive care unit
: patients who were not extubated on arrival to the postanesthesia care unit
: patients who underwent concurrent surgeries other than gastrectomy or aborted surgery due to peritoneal seeding
