Inclusion Criteria

the subjects had knee pain and radiographic osteophytes appear at the margins of the joint with at least one of the following features
1 age more than or equal 50 years
2 morning stiffness less than 30 minutes
and 3 crepitus on motion

Exclusion Criteria

history of peptic ulcer
steroid or hyaluronic intra articular injection within 3 months
unable to walk
hypersensitive to NSAIDs
or concomitant use of anti inflammatory or analgesic drugs
