1. primary and secondary osteoarthritis of hip in Tonnis classification 1-3 with failure conservative treatment more than 4 weeks.
(If bilateral involvement, evaluated the main site or injection site)
2. age between 40-80 years
3. no history of previous hip surgery
4. no history of hip injection within 1 year before enrollment
5. understand well in Thai language and can made self-decision
1. uncontrolled and poor-controlled diabetic mellitus
2. history of infection around the hip joint
3. osteonecrosis of hip
4. Inflammatory hip arthritis such as Ankylosing Spondylitis, Sero-Negative Spondyloarthropathy, rheumatoid arthritis
5. allergy to anesthetic agents or steroid
6. pregnancy (by history taking if LMP)
7. history of degenerative spine disease with significant radicular pain or neurological deficit
8. evidence of osteolytic or osteoblastic lesion around the hip
9. planning for hip replacement within 6 months
