Inclusion Criteria
Patients undergoing elective lower abdominal surgery.
weight >5kgs and <20kgs
ASA Grade 1 or 2
Exclusion Criteria
Children with known allergy to the drugs used in study.
Local infection at the site of the block.
Children with contraindictaions for caudal anaesthesia such as major sacral malformation, meningitis, raised intra cranial pressure
