Gastric adenocarcinomaÂ
ECOG Performance Status <2,  Any part of the Stomach including Gastroesophageal junction tumors except Siewerts type 1 (Tumors of the lower third of the esophagus involving the GastroesophagealÂ
junction from above)Â
No evidence of metastatic disease on PET CT (or other investigations carried out forÂ
metastatic work up)Â
Tumour infiltrating adjacent organs (T4 disease), if the involved organ has been resected at the time of surgery
No evidence of Ascites Â
Peritoneal cytology negative for malignant cell if doneÂ
Surgery performed at a HCG centreÂ
Surgery described as curative by the surgeon  Surgery performed upfront or after neoadjuvant chemotherapy/or chemoradiation.Â
Stage 4 disease found during surgery (peritoneal deposits, liver metastasis, ascites,
omental nodules, discontinuous with the primary tumour)
Patient who had stage 4 disease at the outset e.g. Ascites, has responded to chemotherapy and has undergone surgery.
The patient has undergone Ivor Lewis Operation for proximal gastric cancer.
