Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •1\.Fistulae which are anatomically higher in extension (such as high intersphincteric, high transsphincteric or suprasphincteric fistulae)
  • •2\.Involve significant portions of the sphincter musculature ( \>50%)
  • •3\.Fistulae with multiple tracks or distant cutaneous extensions
  • •4\.Anterior fistula in ano in females
  • •5\.Recurrent fistulae

Exclusion Criteria

  • •1\.Simple fistula in ano.
  • •2\.Non cryptoglandular fistula in ano
  • •3\.Extrasphincteric fistulae
  • •4\.Patients suffering with following ailments shall not be taken for the study:
  • •a.Uncontrolled Hypertension
  • •b.Coronary Artery Disease
  • •c.Uncontrolled Diabetes Mellitus
  • •d.Severe Anaemia and hypoproteinemia
  • •e.Carcinoma
  • •g.HBsAg , Anti HCV
